Edward Dennis Walsh | Edward Dennis Walsh was born in Newark New Jersey in 1922. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue in 1944. He joined the US Navy and served in the South Pacific in WWII. He married Margaret Spears in 1945. They moved to Delanco in 1956. His residence was 701 Delaware Avenue. Ed worked for City Service on Pettys Island. He later founded C-LEC, a plastics company in Philadelphia. Ed was known as a competitive sailor and earned several national titles in the Comet class. He was good friends with William Woods of Delanco who was also a competitive sailor. Ed also became a small plane aviator for his business.
